Happy Bird-Day

Happy Friday All!!! Its going to be a great weekend! Hope the cold weather stays away from here in PA but if its yucky again it will give me a great excuse to get back into my crafty space :)

Im Entering this card in the following challenges:
Im also entering this into : Celebrate the Occasion  Challenge #60
and

For this card I used a simple basic cardstock as the card base;
then I used a few pieces from my scrap stash and I know its hard to see
but the white piece is embossed with flowers .
The owl came from a sticker pack from La Petites: I love it because its 3d and so adorable!
Then I used a piece of doodle twine and placed a tag that I had previously cut and added the sentiment from K Andrew Design stamps from the Owly Hoo Sentiment set.
I used some little gems to make it pop a little bit and
the recycled item i used was a feather from a toy my cat refuses to play with. :)

Flower Pot Card

Hello all!! Happy Tuesday!!
I am really excited to show you this card I made because I am super happy with the way it turned out!
I must tell you first that It was not at all my idea because I was inspired to make this card from :

Photobucket

She has so many cool projects on her site !!! You should deffinitly check out her blog!!

So onto my cards :

For this one I used papers from my collections (sorry I have a lot of my books torn apart and sorted)
Most of my papers are from The paper Studio, DCWV and My Minds Eye
The Flower cuts were from Mothers Day Flower cart on the cricut
and the Flower pot was from the Freshly Picked cartridge
I used some pink twine around the edge of the pot, and some Tim Holtz ink to distress the flowers, card and pot.
The buttons I got at Walmart because I thought they were super cute!
The sentiment came from K Andrew Designs
"All in the Family" & "Owly Hoo Sentiments"
The cool part of this card is that the top which is the flowers and the sentiment piece actually slides into the flower pot which is put together to have a pocket that opens at the top.

Now for the other one I made for a more Mothers Day Feel:

For this card I used papers both from my collection and also from
single sheets that I bought here and there
The Flower cuts were from Mothers Day Flower cart on the cricut
and the Flower pot was from the Freshly Picked cartridge
The buttons I had in my stash and used some pink blue and green twine to add flare to the centers
I used some rik rak to the edge of the flower pot
Tim Holtz ink to give it deffinition around the edges and
the sentiment came from K Andrew Designs "Its Valentines"

I am entering these cards in the Paper Variety challenge : Be Inspired

There were so many projects to choose from but this one really struck me!!

Until Next time <3 :)

For today's project.. I again used another coloring page I found on the internet and it goes with yesterday's post.

The paper I used is from My Minds Eye
I used some cool new decorative tape on the side that I got at Walmart
A very cool flower from Paper Studio and
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Of Mice & Lil Men"
I colored my little Minnie with some simple twist out crayons
and I'm happy with the way She turned out :)

So that's all I have for today but feel free to check out the other projects these wondeful girls have to offer!
Since this isn't a hop there is no order that you have to go in this is just a group of people getting together to showcase Disney related projects for some fun and inspiration :) Enjoy!!

Disney Week Post 5!!

Well All its Friday!!! So Disney week is winding down and I must say I'm rather sad because I enjoyed this week of projects very much!! I love seeing all of the projects everyone has created and enjoyed the challenge of using my Disney carts and even some coloring pages! But all good things must come to an end and the Good news is that we still have ONE more day left after today!!! :)

For today's project I downloaded a cute little coloring page from the internet and just used some simple twist out crayons that I had to color it...(still working on the technique for my blending markers) :)

When I saw this cute little image I had to use it!
The bg paper is from My Minds Eye "Twinkle Twinkle little boy"
Then i used a piece of glitter stock I had in my stash to break up the pattern a little bit
I faux stitched the glittler stock to dress it up a tad bit
Then I cut a 1" circle from my circle punch and
stamped it with the K Andrew Design Stamp Set "Of Mice and Lil Men"
This stamp set has been my favorite set to use this week! :)

I am also entering this into the Getting Cricky  challenge - Link up your favorite project

So thats all I have for today but feel free to check out the other projects these wondeful girls have to offer!

For todays project I wanted to do a character out of Toy Story but .. its not the character that you may expect :)!

Lots O Huggin Bear!! For this card I dont exactly remember what cart i used to cut the background out.. I had it previously cut out... The glittery paper i used I got at Michaels at their paper clearance sale Love it!!
The ribbon is a glittery ribbon from AcMoore  and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs  " Positive Thoughts"

Disney Week Day 2!!!

So this is day 2 for Disney Week!! Yesterdays projects were beyond amazing!! So I cant wait to see what everyone has for today and the rest of the week!!!

So for today's project I made another card but instead of using my cricut for the Tinkerbell I just took a sticker that I got from the card section at Walmart and put it on some vellum so I could use it as a 3d piece :)

So the card cut came from the Life's a Party cartridge
It has a black base and a purple over layer so that when the card closes the purple and the glitter pop right off the back I know its hard to see because I used my cricut as a background...
I added some ribbon and put a flower in the center from which came from "The Paper Studio"
The bling came from a package i picked up at Hobby Lobby
The Tinkerbell was just a sticker in a set at Walmart and I added some vellum and some pop up tape to make her stand out.
The sentiment came from K Andrew Designs "Of Mice & Lil Men"  ( I know i've been using this set a lot but it works soooo well with the Disney sets and much much more!!)

So thats all I have for today but feel free to check out the other projects these wondeful girls have to offer!
Since this isnt a hop there is no order that you have to go in this is just a group of people getting together to showcase Disney related projects for some fun and inspiration :) Enjoy!!
